Subject Access Request

Rye Amenity CIC collects, holds, and processes certain personal data about our customers ('data subjects'). For example, if you are an allotment holder, on the waiting list for an allotment, or have made a recent enquiry about taking on an allotment.

 

As a data subject, you have a right to find out about our use of your personal data. By making a 'subject access request' you can ask us for:

 

  • confirmation that your personal data is being processed by us
  • a copy of any of your personal data that we currently hold
  • details of how we use your personal data and why
  • details of any sharing or transfers of your personal data
  • information about how long we will hold your personal data

 

Please note that a lot of information on how we collect, use, disclose and retain your personal information is already contained within our Privacy Notice

 

Making a subject access request is free under normal circumstances, although we are allowed to charge you a reasonable fee if your request is 'manifestly unfounded', excessive or repetitive. Such a fee would only be based on the actual administrative cost incurred by us in order to respond.

You don't have to use the form below to make a subject access request but it may save time if you do.

 

After receiving your subject access request, we will acknowledge receipt of your request, and we might ask you for some additional supporting information and/or proof of your identity.

 

We will respond to all subject access requests within one month of receipt and in most cases we would hope to be able to respond much quicker than that.
